#Location: Dhaka

#Responsibility:

  • Ensure profitability of each vehicle and manage overall transport operation and expenses to eventually convert the transport department in an efficient function
  • Responsible for keeping all vehicles safe and in running condition, ensure timely preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and fuel consumption maintenance for smooth transport operation
  • Oversee overall recruitment & selection process of Drivers in order to select efficient Drivers, manage proper trip schedule and ensure that the Drivers’ trainings are taking place on regular basis
  • Maintain liaison with local Government official, Police and BRTA for disciplinary procedure of transport operations and ensure all documents related to transport are timely updated
  • Ensure Planning & monitoring of the delivery program schedule on daily basis required by sales & marketing and also coordination for delivery schedule with marketing team & dealer/retailer to maintain smooth delivery for regular and ghat operations
  •    Ensure monitoring of ERP, MIS reports and documentation for maintenance of regular and ghat operations to properly execute the loading process

#Strategic

  • Establish effective strategies to manage department operations; such as: budgeting, safety programs, spare parts management, etc. for the purpose of providing quality services within the established time frame in compliance with company standards
  • Develop strategies to analyse expenditures and finances for budgetary plans, cost minimization and improvement of transport services
  • Ensure adequate brief regarding delivery process and guidance among all employees of Distribution through regular meetings
  • Assess the current challenges and bottle-neck and suggest recommendation to ensure smooth operation to support the growth of the company

#Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Mechanical
  • Diploma in Automobile and Bachelor in Mechanical combination will also be considered.

#Experience:  Minimum 10-12 years of similar experience.
