We are looking!!! Head of Maintenance for Top Reputed Footwear Company
#Reports to: Head of Plant
#Function: Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical & Digital)
#KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Directly supervises the maintenance team members & build a multi-skilled team by hiring, coaching, training, directing, and managing performance.
- End-to-end control on all factory machineries, equipment, utilities & tooling.
- Tracks expenditures, labor costs, ensure compliance with plant and dept. budgets.
- Manages vendor relationships to ensure time-line and service level.
- Manages expenditures, equipment delivery, equipment performance specifications (safety, throughput, equipment reliability).
- Develops, implements, and improves preventive maintenance programs.
- Provides support to operations to increase machine uptime & productivity throughout the plant.
- Follows all GMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform and Direct Root Cause Analysis for equipment/systems.
- Direct and provide oversight to plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute plant maintenance and outage activities to maximize plant availability/capacity.
- Follow up and assist team to have optimum level of spares inventory.
- Ensure calibration monitoring & measuring devices as per schedule.
- Build team spirit within the workforce.
- Ensure proper compliance and up-dating of procedure/ systems in line with ISO requirements and company policy.
- Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in the factory environment to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.
#Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge in the production processes and machineries of various types & categories of Leather
and
non-leather footwear or similar
process-oriented factory.
- Sound in technical knowledge of machineries, equipment, utilities, energy consumption, products and processes.
- Hands-on experience in trouble shooting machineries issues related to machine related critical points, special machine parameters, statistical process controls.
- Capable of executing & sustaining the appropriate processes and procedures.
- Should have good leadership skills and should be dynamic, organized, self-starter, analytical, innovative and goal oriented.
- Strong team builder and leader, able to motivate workforce through management through participatory committee.
#Experience
The incumbent for this position requires having bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Mechanical.
Minimum 12 years of experience in developing / maintaining any factory with 5 years of hands-on experience in shop-floor maintenance management & control.
