Job Description

  • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies to maximize company profitability.
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Ensure availability of all level of storing and selling points.
  • Analyze information about vendor performance or procurement program to develop availability and maximization of profit
  • Examine and test existing contracts.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers.
  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Educational Requirements

  1. Graduate/Post graduate from any disciple from reputed university, Business graduate will be preferred.
  2. Fluent in English & Bengali.
  3. Proficient in computer operation specially MS Power Point, MS Excel and MS Word; Working experience in SAP will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Procurement, Consumer goods brand management, product Management, Category management, new product development.
