Chief-Supply Chain Officer for Reputed Construction Company.

#Reports To: Board of Directors

#Function: Supply Chain Division.

#Location: Head Office, Dhaka.

#Job_Description /Responsibility and Authority:

  • Develop strategic planning for supply chain of a large construction company.
  • Develop ordering plan.
  • Set saving target for various supply chain units.
  • Share knowledge with the management regarding local regulatory, customs related changes and their business impact.
  • Ensure development and implementation of warehouse, distribution and logistics solutions plan and policies.
  • Research and Implementation of Procurement initiatives.
  • Overseeing supply chain operations in order to forecast orders and meet project demands.
  • Implement KPI performance evaluation system.
  • Ensure optimizing operational resources to executing cost reductions and inventory controls.
  • Conduct monthly capacity and performance analyses.
  • Looked after new business expansion.
  • Ensure reduce product undesirability through inventory reviews and re-balancing efforts.
  • Ensure daily/ weekly and monthly reports to provide stakeholders with actionable data and insights regarding current stock levels by category and location.
  • Establish Economies of scale and economic order quantities.
  • Develop internal control system.
  • Liaise with different stakeholder for resolution of any operational bottleneck.
  • Manage deployment of new vendor and ensure vendor performance by analyzing their performance periodically.
  • Liaise with different internal project team for their smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with all functions to understand their needs for prioritizing the resource allocation..
  • Ensure smooth relationship with suppliers.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

#Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

#Education: Must have: Professional certification of SCM and masters in any discipline

#Skill: Sound knowledge on ERP system especially in SAP.

#Experiences: 16 to 20years’of total experience inclusive of at least 7-9 year experiencein senior management capacity.

#Working Relationships:

#Internal: Board of Directors, Chief of Projects and Construction, Chief Financial Officer,Project Sites, Store, Planning, HR and Admin, Commercial.

#External: Suppliers and vendors.

#Additional Comments: Target oriented, excellent negotiation skill.

    Planning and budgeting, Business Process Management (BPM), ERP Implementation (SAP) etc. From my
    working experience as a professional in leading positions, I developed myself in good analytic and
    communication skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment, possess even stricter requirements for
    integrity and good interpersonal skills. In addition, I worked as a Part-time Faculty Member (as a professional
    resource person) for CILT (UK) International Diploma Courses with United International University (UIU),
