Brand Manager (female) for leading FMCG Company.

#Job Summary:

This position will generate, analyze, disseminate, and store anticipated marketing information on a regular basis through continuous monitoring, marketing research and data warehousing to improve the overall marketing planning, implementation and control of company brands ensuring the right marketing mix to drive brand equity and growth.

#Responsibilities:

  • Be the guardian to ensure the business is presenting the brand correctly in all areas. Act as point of first reference for all cleaning product (like Toilet Cleaner, Dish Washing Bar, Detergent Powder etc.) related inquiries.
  • Manage all elements of the marketing mix to maximize performance in market: product proposition, packaging, distribution, price & promotions and product quality. Generate innovative ideas for building brand equities and take challenges to new market opportunities for the brands.
  • Involve in targets setting, strategic planning, goals setting and plan implementation for marketing and sales with the aim of maximize sell-out and sales force effectiveness identifying opportunities for growth and profit enhancement.
  • Spearhead New Product Development projects from initial identification of potential market opportunities to product launch. Identify need for and work with Strategic Insights to commission ad hoc research to assess business opportunities.
  • Design and drive different marketing strategies including ATL & BTL promotion campaign and evaluate the effectiveness of these marketing campaigns to ensure the right communication is delivered for the products.
  • Lead the development of all POS that may be required across the categories. Closely work with concerned departments, creative agencies to make sure the brand values and image are followed.
  • Develop an intuitive understanding of target consumer attitudes, behaviors and needs both now and in the future to feed into decision making. Use data from a variety of sources from market research, trends analysis, desk research, observation to build a holistic picture of the consumers’ life and in relation to the category.
  • Collect regular market feedback with an objective to remain updated about the industry, provide strategic guideline for upgrading weak market to get better performance.
  • Ensure that the sales team has a toolkit of support items need to sell company products successfully e.g. presentation, product information, sales aids etc.
  • Identify opportunities to develop high potential staff through involvement in new projects, expanded accountability, promotions, ensures proper training of all point-of-sale, area management.
  • Perform the duties & responsibilities to a high professional and ethical standard and perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
  • A passion for brands with an understanding of the big picture and day-to-day priorities
  • Broad based experience across the mix including, promotions, pricing, packaging and positioning
  • A solid working knowledge of Existing Product Development / New Product Development
  • Confidence and a willingness to challenge existing thinking with creative ideas
  • Strong analytical thinking skills with experience of using market & consumer insight data
  • A real drive for results with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A real creative spark, a desire to learn about consumer and shopper behavior, ensuring our packs stand up and stand out.

#Experience: Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience.
