Manager (Facilities Management) for a leading apparel manufacturing company.

#Department: Administration

#Location: Dhaka

This role is responsible for providing, monitoring and maintaining the entire facilities management for all common areas along with ensuring Utility, Boiler, Fire equipment and Drainage system are regularly serviced and tested within the safety guidelines and organizational expectations at all times.

#Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing Utility and ensure regular maintenance
  • Ensure adequate lighting at the Premises common areas
  • Manage Power plant and substation
  • Maintenance of all Fire systems like: Fire Pump, Extinguisher, Hydrant, Sprinkler, etc.
  • ‘Regular operation and maintenance of Boilers
  • Ensure Mass Boiler operation and service
  • Notify responsible for licensing
  • Ensure common facilities operations and management, including housekeeping, cleanliness and hygiene of Station. The common facility includes, landscape, peripheral boundaries, buildings, internal roads, childcare, dormitories, central canteen with food management, etc.
  • Maintain a tracker to ensure timely submission of all utility bills, e.g., gas, electricity, etc.
  • Ensure general maintenance of all common and manufacturing facilities
  • Ensure water disposed maintaining compliance
  • Ensure functionality of Drainage system
  • Arranging periodic Septic Tank cleaning
  • Liaison with Govt. Offices: Titas Gas, Environment office, REB, etc.
  • Maintain cordial relationship with other factory’s maintenance team and work together for achieving common goals
  • Work closely with Head of Station Administration and senior Management
  • Ensure developing an energetic and dynamic team consistently delivering improved performance and exceeding expectations.
  • Consistently train, coach, and feedback to the team members to enhance their motivation and effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

#Educational Requirements

  • Electro-Mechanical Engineer from a reputed university

#Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in RMG Factory
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management
