Job Description

  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in overseeing and managing the business and operational audit function of the Group.
  • Plan and execute the annual audit programs to ensure corporate policies and procedures are observed.
  • Prepare memos and notes relating to audit for the Management.
  • Review and examine all kinds of draft Audit Reports and draft Audit Compliance Reports which are prepared and presented by the officers of IAD.
  • Communicate with related parties on audit findings and make constructive recommendations for improvement.
  • Initiate the Audit Reports and Audit Compliance Reports to the authority for final approval.
  • Tracking of recommendations and reporting on status of implementing recommendations by the action owners which will include follow up with the action owners on a periodic basis.
  • Ensure compliance requirements of different regulatory Authorities.
  • Participate in all audit related discussion, meeting and knowledge sharing events.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies if necessary.
  • Perform ad hoc investigations requested by Senior Management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.

Educational Requirements

Qualified CMA/CA/ACCA, MBA/M.Com in Accounting/Finance.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 12 years’ internal audit experience obtained from conglomerate or sizable MNC, with 5 years at managerial level.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting and / or related discipline with relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Working experience with reputed audit firm shall be preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years’ internal audit experience obtained from conglomerate or sizable MNC, with 5 years at managerial level.
  • Good leadership and lateral thinking, with strong problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
  • Able to work independently and under tight schedule, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  •  Self-motivation and pro-activeness.
  • Sound knowledge on IAS, IFRS, Taxation, Corporate laws and Companies Act etc.
