Job Description
#Strategic:
•Assist in planning and implementing the 'Maintenance & Engineering' strategy for farms & hatcheries Region in order to provide best possible maintenance support within economic cost
• Analyze and drive maximum usages of machine capacity and equipments to ensure optimum production
• Research and identify new opportunities for continuous improvement of existing technologies and processes and manage its effective establishment
#Operational:
• New project design, trouble shooting & Installation
• Manage and conduct overall trouble shooting and installation process for all equipments/machines; such as: ventilation system, feeding, silo, auto nesting, caging, egg collection, manure transferring system, sub stations, generators; of farms, hatcheries and bio - gas & compost plants within a specific time frame
• Research, evaluate and implement standard procedure for reducing break down time (not hampering production) from maintenance operation to contribute to the overall production
• Responsible for conducting the new project implementation for line extension, equipment setup, ensuring effective cost and following up the machine performance regularly
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of power generator in compliance with the standards
#Schedule_Maintenance_and_Overhauling:
• Provide direction for schedule maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production by coordinating with farms and hatchery In Charges
• Monitor the generator overhauling, troubleshooting, identify the source of problem and provide cost effective solution as when required
#Spare_Parts_Management:
• Provide on time requisition with accurate product specification to ensure availability of spare parts and conformity of it's quality before installation or storage
• Establish guidelines to manage overall usages of spare parts in order to minimize downtime
#Safety:
• Ensure safety of man, material and machines during maintenance work by following all safety policies of company.
• Provide periodical safety counseling and awareness training to all staffs & employees to reduce loss time accident (LTA) and first aid case from overall operation
• Establish occupational safety structure (OSS) as per requirements of food industry and ensure it's effective implementation
#Innovation_and_improvement:
• Identify scope of re-designing and re-engineering the existing process/system to reduce cost and improve productivity
• Develop the SOP for all existing functions and procedures
#Employee_Development:
• Organize training program for the employees of lab department to enhance team competency
• Enforce a performance driven culture amongst all employees of the
Department by using existing Performance Evaluation System
• Implement job rotation, job delegation and empowering of people to increase efficiency of employees
#MIS_And_ERP_Record_Keeping:
• Ensure accurate and on time entry of all records in ERP
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately and submit to the functional head within the specific time frame
#Financial:
• Identify cost reduction opportunities within the department through innovative maintenance strategies, appropriate data management, re- alignment of work processes, and appropriate manpower utilization measures
• Ensure funds are available for emergency and breakdown maintenance
