Job Description

1. Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:

• a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public,and facilitate internal and external communications;and,

2. Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.

3. Obtains market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product; directing promotional support.

4. Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer- relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.

5. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

6. Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

7. Ensure articulation of Organization’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.

8. Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all Organization publications.

9. Actuate Organization’s representative with the media.

10. Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.

11. Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist chapters in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.

12. Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.

13. Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.
