Job Description

• Assist in managing all bare metal and virtual servers currently running in DC

• Assemble, setup and configure IBM, Dell and HP Rack Mount Server

• Manage EMC Unity Storage and Data Domain Backup Appliance

• Assist in managing VMware Virtualization Platform

• Install, configure and maintain VMware ESXi 6.0 Hosts

• Create and provision new VMs in VMware vSphere 6.0 environment as per requirements

• Install, configure and maintain Web, Mail, DNS, Database servers in RHEL 6 and 7

• Install, configure and maintain Web, Active Directory, DNS, Print & File, Database servers in Windows 2008 R2, 2012 R2

• Manage user provisioning, permissions, group memberships, GPO in Windows AD Environment

• Install, configure and maintain Oracle 11gR2 and 12cR2 database in Linux environment for large scale production use

• Configure and manage RMAN Backup Procedure in Oracle 11gR2 and 12cR2 database

• Manage MacAfee Enterprise End-Point Protection System in Windows Environment


• Liaise with Network Management and Hardware Support Team to ensure smooth operation of IT Infrastructure

• Provide all system and database related support to both In-House and Third Party Software and Application Development Teams.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports and notes on various IT related issues as per requirement.

  • Minimum Bachelor degree from reputed public or private university
  • Certification in relevant area will be added advantage

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Six (6) years hands on working experience in Large Data Center Environment managing systems and database
