Job Description

#Purpose:

To support GM and QA team the strategic and operational performance of the Quality department, ensuring the Successful delivery of business strategy, Key performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives, whilst adhering to regulatory compliance and achieving commercial success.

#Responsibilities             

                               

  • In charge of overall coordination of Quality assurance activities as per JCI findings in both clinical and non clinical services.
  • To ensure the continuous improvement in the hospital, timely deliveries and satisfied patient/visitors due to the quality advancement of the hospital and its service.
  • Ensure monthly quality meeting & Coordinate with JCI internal auditor(s) to track and monitor the non-Compliance in monthly JCI meeting.
  • All departmental HODs follow quality process to maintain the standards of JCI.
  • Guide all departments to improve process based on improvements identified.
  • Ensure timely preparation of various Quality reports.
  • Recommend or drive –Quality improvement initiatives throughout various departments.
  • Carry out Quality investigations and patient compliant handlings as and when required.
  • Review of the patient care policies and procedures and recommending suitable changes to reflect current best practices and JCI standards.
  • Develop new policies, SOP’s on clinical care based on best practices and JCI standards.
  • Prepare and develop suitable training material on various quality parameters, best practices and JCI Standards.
  • Develop, review and monitoring the clinical and non-clinical Departmental Key Quality Parameters (DKQP) to ensure compliance and maintenance in line with implementation of quality benchmarks and JCI standards, adhering to all the patient safety standards.
  • Conduct Quality Team Rounds and ensure monthly reports with recommendations of action to
  • be taken, with follow up of compliance on those issues to ensure improvement and quality.
  • Review the Customer Feedback reports to analyze actions and ensure improvement.

 

  • Regular monitoring of processes in wards and other non-clinical areas to ensure adherence with JCI standards.
  • Review and analysis of utilization rates of various clinical departments
  • Monitoring documentation of medical records.
  • Regular review of the Incident Reports, analysis and recommending suitable action to prevent future incidences.
  • Conducting project on Six Sigma in Apollo Hospitals Dhaka.
  • Preparing and justifying the Quality department’s budget including JCI expenses before beginning of a year.

  • Collection of VOCs and summarize the responses and analyze trends and patterns to help management making decisions.
  • Analyze the treads of Customer Feedback Analysis and report the action needs and discuss at each Quality Steering Committee Meeting.
  • Ensure Incident reporting to Quality Steering Committee.
  • Act as the meeting chair for monthly Operational Leadership Team(OLT)meetings.
  • Patient Satisfaction and Recognition program:
  • Analyze the comments and data made on the Customer Questionnaire Feedback
  • Appraise performance of each inpatient unit based on the number of Feedback Questionnaire received, total number of excellent service rendered to the patients and extraordinary comments made by patient on the Feedback Questionnaires.
  • Performance results are communicated to the Senior Leaders for their individual verdicts
  • Organize a program to celebrate the occasion.

Graduate in Medicine (MBBS).

12 year professional experience in relevant field.
